Varsity Boys Head Coach - Sean Wickham-  [email protected]

Coach Wickham began coaching as the Varsity Assistant Coach at Greater Atlanta Christian School in 1997. He has since coached at Monroe Area High School where he lead the team to the state playoffs, Bradenton Preparatory Academy, and Lakewood Ranch High School before returning to Greater Atlanta Christian where he coached the JV and Middle School teams. In 2017--his first year at Mountain View High School--he led the JV team to a school record 7 wins, 3 ties, and 3 losses. Coach Wickham has also coached for several years at club level serving as the DOC, Goalkeeper Trainer, and Head Coach of many different ages for both girls and boys. He holds a USSF B License and a National Diploma in Goalkeeping from the NSCAA. His playing experience includes 4 years lettering in soccer for GACS, one year at Georgia Perimeter College, and two years at Georgia Tech competing twice in the NIRSA National Championship Tournament.

To date Coach Wickham has led the MVHS Varsity Boys to a 2019 6-AAAAAAA Region Championship and received 2019 All County Coach of the Year honors.

Varsity Boys Assistant Coach - Desmond Smith

Coach Smith played professional soccer for 17 years and transitioned into coaching for the last 14 years. He served as the Assistant Coach for the Jamaica National under 20 soccer team and later served as Head Coach at the Club level for the Portmore United Soccer Club’s under 21 team for 8 years. He led the team to five consecutive title wins then later migrated to the United States. The last 6 years Coach Smith has run his own training program where he works with both boys and girls on teaching, developing and improving their soccer skills and technique.

Junior Varsity Boys Head Coach - Coach Daniel Aristizabal

Coach Aristizabal has played soccer since he was 9 years old. Following the tradition of many of his family members he continued on to academy soccer and levels beyond. He played as a right back and goalkeeper for a major club until an injury ended his career.  Coach A then dedicated his career to coaching the last 4 years, helping out with Killian Hill Christian school as an assistant coach and also providing private training sessions. Coach Aristizabal hope to improve on a players character through the same hard and intensive training he has had in his career.
